New firmware for all Cinemood Devices - New features

New firmware 2821.user for devices - Cinemood White, Cinemood VR and 31030.user for Cinemood-TV.

Key changes:

customizing the main menu for the user, hiding / showing categories - convenience in navigating the device menu.

Now it’s possible to bring your favorite stream applications to the main menu - quick access to frequently used applications like YouTube, Netflix, etc.

Menu loading optimization - menu loading speed noticeably increased

Optimization of access to last viewed content - quick access to frequently used content.

Display of discounts for sales in the interface - old / new price, bright SALE tag for easy navigation through the content in the sale

Filmstrip Player - voiced filmstrips can be stopped / continued on the frame for reading with a child.

Bluetooth fixes and updated CINEMOOD Interface.

Great news - we have improved the user interface and fixed some bugs in our CINEMOOD devices. Updates have affected both the 2nd device’s generation and the latest CINEMOOD TV.

Fixed bluetooth connection to wireless speakers and headphones! You can connect your favorite bluetooth speaker and headphones very easily and simply in the new version of our CINEMOOD UI in the SETTINGS / BLUETOOTH section. You can also see the devices that have been already paired with the device. The cube will automatically connect to these devices.
In applications like Netflix, Prime Video, where control is possible only with the help of a cursor-pointing device, a brief instruction on how to operate it has appeared. The instruction appears once on first launch and looks like a set of slides for reference
The special interface for the software updates has appeared. Now you can always check and install the update in a separate menu - SETTINGS / UPDATES
Found bugs fixed

How to update your device right now - please check the version in SETTINGS / MY CINEMOOD / ABOUT if you don’t have UPDATES menu in the SETTINGS. Even you will see you have the latest version, please turn off and on your device. App version number should be 5.13.112 (or higher).

We fixed important bug with locale language in the main interface - some time it switched by itself to another language.

Also we’ve updated video player and film strip players - fixed minor bugs and customers can watch own AVI video files from the flash card or upload it to the device.

We have released a new firmware version 2785.user. Here we collected all the changes to the components over the past 2 months in it and made some new features, including the YouTube Kids app, available to all users of our device

Also it possible to sign in the CINEMOOD account using not only the phone number, but also the email address, and using the mobile application it is possible to merge accounts and add sign in methods to an existing accounts.

We are pleased to present you a new update to our CINEMOOD-UI.

Here’s the change log:

We have accelerated the loading of the CINEMOOD device
Accelerated the purchase of content (instead of 60 seconds, now 9 from purchase to launch content).
Changed the process of saving and updating the content structure
Added a Storage Management function - you can see how much space your content takes in memory and delete it + clear the cache.
Ivi subscription update bug fixed when starting from the window
Airplane mode implemented in the WiFi menu to disable / enable the WiFi adapter - will help save battery power and solve problems with connecting to WiFi.

We are happy to announce the new features and bug fixes that we’ve implemented during the last month:

For our DIACUBE and VR users and for our CINEMOOD Cloud Service subscribers:

we released simple subscription verification.
you can use our mirroring features and buy IVI and MOOLT subscriptions apart from CINEMOOD Cloud.
It’s possible to subscribe to CINEMOOD Cloud services at any time you want.
CINEMOOD Cloud expiration information is now available and correct.
Very soon you will find different videos from YouTube in the main menu. It will be the best of Educational, Science and Nature videos. Just wait a bit and they will appear on your device soon.
Some people complained about the possibility to enter promo codes to get access to the content. It did not work well and we fixed that.
We fixed YouTube 360 player for happy owners of VR and CINEMOOD 360 devices. Please check any 360 videos on YouTube – it should work fine.
We fixed bugs with the main menu, when icons did not appear well.
And If you want to change language frequently – you probably had a bug with dual language interface. We successfully fixed that too.

Did you see our collections? You can find them in Showcase (Just push the UP button on the main menu). You can find there our best content collection from different stream providers and search whatever you want there too. We are working hard to improve the base of our collections with different kinds of videos for the whole family. Somebody complained about paid content from IVI provider in the collection and now paid content is mentioned there.

Also, we updated some of our applications, stay up-to-date!

New features

– CINEMOOD App’s connection speed improved. Now it’s possible to connect CINEMOOD App less than 15 seconds after device booted up instead of up to 3 minutes.

– Now we remember your previous sign-in information. It helps you to sign in easier in case of the sign-out – you will see previous login info on the screen.

– New IOS App’s version will kindly remind you to update your CINEMOOD device if it has old firmware. The notification contains simple instructions on how to do it.

– Also, it’s possible to check version for every software component of the CINEMOOD device (Only in IOS App now and Android’s version will be updated soon)

– New control mode for Netflix and Amazon Prime Apps. Now it’s possible to control the pointer in your lovely stream services with buttons on the CINEMOOD device. It’s not so convenient as a phone touchpad and it’s still necessary to connect your CINEMOOD App to the device, but in the future, we will remove this limitation.

– IOS Touchpad has scroll zones now. Now you can move the pointer by touch regular zones, scroll the screen by touch special scroll zone on the side of the pad or drag screen by a touchpad with 2 fingers. New instruction will be available soon at our support pages.

Fixes

– The icon in Settings Menu changed for Bluetooth Phone / Speaker connection.

A lot of people tried to connect to the mobile app using this menu item. It’s completely wrong – it’s possible to connect the mobile CINEMOOD App to the device in the App only. This menu item is to connect your preferred Bluetooth Audio devices like phone or speaker
